Can anyone reccomend a really good pair of tweezers as most ones ive tried dont seem to get the really small hairs and i end up poking my skin and making it bleed. |

Do a search here on EDS.
I seem to remember two tweezers being highly recommended by multiple people - one is made by Anastasia for brows (her products can be found at Sephora, online at her site, and at Nordstroms that have her trained eyebrow specialists) and the other brand I think is called Rubis (made in Switzerland, I think). Of course, the type you get depends on your plans for usage.... |

Another vote for Tweezerman -- I use the slant tweezer, but I've had my eye on another one too. |

My vote goes to Rubis tweezers from Switzerland. |

The Revlon ones have been perfectly good for me, maybe you could try them before making a big purchase? |

EDS has a big selection of Tweezerman too...

I was using Revlon tweezers before I switched to Anastasia and I much prefer the Anastasia tweezers as they are able to grip the tiniest hairs with ease plus they stay sharp. I found the Revlon tweezers go dull quickly.
EDS also has the BDB Tweezers which I may try next:

Tweezerman (slant)
There is also a similar and cheaper brand, but I think they stopped making them. I wish I could remember the name. |

Tweezerman tweezers - hands down...
The company offers free lifetime sharpening - which is nice - but I often just scuff the "blade" edges with a emery board when they lose a little of their grip - and that seems to work just fine! |

My experience with Tweezerman has been mixed. I had one pair that I really loved--it got even the tiniest, shortest hairs with ease. If I could see them or feel them, it got them. Then I lost them (actually, I have a nasty security worker take them away out of my carry-on in a tiny little airport... )
Anyway, I got exactly the same model, but this time, it sometimes nips the hair clean off and other times I can pull the hair out. Very annoying. I think that very tiny differences in alignment make a real difference. I'm thinking about the Rubis or the Anastasia next. Or maybe just another Tweezerman, and hope that I get one like my first one. |

they aren't aligned properly. i bet if you contacted tweezerman you could get those exchanged for a new pair--they seem like a pretty customer-service oriented company. just a thought... |
