Guapagirl, I was also thinking of relying on my Jane Iredale pressed base for my winter spf. Its supposed to have an SPF of 17.
Does everyone think that is enough? |

I think if you're using it everyday and if you're using enough product being to actually give you the SPF 17, then yes. It should be fine.
Keep in mind it will diminish due to certain factors. Since you have to reapply sunscreen, it's a good idea to touch this up as well, even if you don't have to. (I say this because some say JI lasts and looks great all day, but I find it gets oily quick, and then you need to blot)
If you get oily, blot papers will remove some product (they usually do) so it will furthur diminish the protection.
I know plenty of people who rely on this as their sunscreen once in a while. |
