After I get rid of a pimple, I get these blotches that are lighter than my skin tone where the pimple used to be. The spots arn't puffy or anything but they are embarrasing and a bit unattractive . Does anyone know what they are or have tips on how to quickly get rid of these spots? Thanks so much!

I know what you are talking about, because I have one on my cheek. I am not sure what happened, what I did differently to heal it, because this does not happen very often. What I did to get mine lighter and I am still working on it), but I keep exfoliating it with my facial brush. The only thing I can guess is with the pimple process of the red, inflamed ect and me applying things to get it to go away, I must of applied something that lightened my skin sort of messed with my pigmentation. I don't know. Do you get the light spots with every blemish that heals? |

White spots are hypo-pigmentation and will occur sometimes after damage to the skin. There is really no way to treat them. Do yours ever turn back to skin color? |

They don't always show up, but they usually show up after every pimple. I THINK they go away after a while, but I'm not really sure; I've never gotten so many that are so noticable. Thanks for your help so far! |
