Hi Everyone, I am new here, but I am not new in skincare
Just want to share my favourites here :
Big fan of Darphin, vitaserum70 is the best, re-contour my face, it works and purifying balm. StimulusPlus eye cream, not thick, so it actually penetrates. Also the eye serum40 for dark circle and bag.
Trying Decleor's essential balm recently, smells great but I like Darphin's purifying balm a little better.
Dermalogica's toxic relief oil, it's for the body, but I rub it on my scalp and message it in, it's supposed to penetrate deeper and faster on the scalp, once heard if you rub lavender oil on the scalp, it will put you to sleep faster than by smelling it.
Decleor's hand cream, smells great and not oily.
L'occitane olive hair oil, it restores my seriously damaged hair, and of course, infusium23 has always been my favourite.
L'occitane foot cream, has lavender and shea butter, so it's moisturizing and antiseptic at the same time, and never sticky.
kiehl's lip balm and Calendula toner.
Dermalogica's gentle cream exfoliant, I like it better than the daily microexfoliant, it works faster.
DermaE microdermabrasion scrub, lightens acne scars.
Jo Malone perfume for bedtime only, orange blossom, red roses, lavender & amber, honeysuckle & Jasmine, french lime.
Jurlique's gentle foaming cleanser in shower, and Darphin's purifying cleanser in the morning.
Osmotics' refining mask as a weekly exfoliant.
Sisley's botanical night complex, it's great, clarifying and calms my skin.
Cush's (bare escentual) detox sea mask, best I have been used as a deep cleansing clay mask.
Sisley's express flower gel.
can't possibly name everything here, but here are something I stick with now, always wonder the difference between Darphin and Decleor, anyone has used both and can comment ?

Hi Diderot,
Welcome to the forum!
Just a quick question, is the Sisley botanical night complex a treatment that goes under a moisturiser or a night moisturiser itself? And what exactly does the express flower gel do for your skin? That has been on my 'to try' list for ages but I haven't got around to it yet.
TIA

Hi Mabsy,
Thanks for the warm welcome
The sisley night complex is supposed to be used alone, and you PRESS it on instead of rubbing it in your face. I can't use most of the other Sisley products, since I have combination skin, and most of the other products in the line has mineral oil, can never figure out why such an expensive line would use mineral oil, and mineral oil makes me breakout. Anyway, I asked for the sample to try before buying it, too expensive if it does nothing, but it's been a miracle to me, it significantly lighten and heal my acne scars overnite. The sample lasted me at least 4 nites.
Flower gel, give my skin that healthy supple glow. Hope it helps !

Thank you! I might try to get a sample of this (I don't even know is it's actually possible to get Sisley samples in Australia, there is only one Sisley counter in Brisbane ) and see how I go. After reading your post I think I'm more tempted to try the night complex rather then the flower gel. |

Hi Mabsy,
The night complex is also supposed to revitalize your skin, for use during change of season when our skin act weird; and before our period comes each month when our hormones are acting crazy, just something to keep in mind. I only use it 2-3 nites at a time, I find it reaches its peak after that, only use it when my skin looks sluggish, it completely transform my skin overnite.
Another product that lightens and clam my irritation is La Mer firming serum.
Is Australia dry ?

Parts of Australia are, Brisbane can very between very dry and very humid. A good excuse to have more than skin care regime on hand |
