I've been using Retino-A for 4 nights straight and I was expecting to see the start of that sunburn look they describe. My concern is whether or not the product is authentic, being that I bought it from an online pharmacy and it came from Johnson & Johnson in India.
I don't see any reaction at all so far. |

Hi there,
I think it takes me about a week to a week and a half of use every night before my skin starts peeling. Plenty of people have reported good use of the tretinoin from Johnson and Johnson in India, so I wouldn't worry about it. You'll peel soon enough. (peeling was the extent of my skins reaction, mostly around the corners of my mouth and chin, the rest of my face was fine and it was not red - except when I scrubbed it to try to take off the peelies) HTH |

Thank you gellabell! I wasn't sure of the time frame, of when I might see those things. Good to hear that other people have had good experiences with that product. |

What strength Retin-A are you using? I use 0.1% cream formular and have never experienced any redness or irritation at all - so you might be one of the lucky ones too! |

I'm the same as Keliu.
In fact, no matter how much I use this stuff I never get a reaction (perhaps a little puffiness though) but rarely any peeling or redness. |

Oh really? I kind of thought it was a universal reaction. I'm using 0.05% cream base.
Well that would be nice to not have to deal with that! I have had a few eruptions, but I'm chalking that up to Aunt Flo. |

It may take more than a week of usage before you see any effects like peeling, redness, etc. |
