My Aunt Evelyn has beautiful skin at age 87. I asked her her secret and she gave me her simple beauty routine. I think her mother gave it to her. Here goes:
Fill wash basin with warm water
Take gentle (she uses Allenbury) soap and make massive lather in hands
Massage into face thoroughly and gently
Rinse 30 times in warm water.
Drain basin and refill with warm water
Add 2 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar
Splash face 30 times
Pat Dry (no rubbing)
Moisturise |

My Mother was 86 with beautiful, poreless skin. She was a bit more complicated in her beauty routine.
Washing with the same kind of Allenbury or gentle soap.
Rinsing well
Moisturising a lot (Prince Matchabelli?)
In later years she used Avon's Anew or Marcelle cleansers, Nivea or Marcelle Toners and lots of moisturiser Sunscreen in summer. |

| I think it is still sold in drugstores and grocery stores. It is sort of like Pear's soap. I think a gentle soap is the idea. I'll ask my Aunt. |
