SUPER HG MATERIAL!!!
I got this when EDS had it available as a forum gift. My skin was red, raw, dry and peeling. I had literally patches of raw skin and it really hurt - I think it was the summer heat + pollution. I had been trying a bunch of my emergency products but my skin just wouldn't calm down, so when I saw this I thought - just what I need.
I was surprised when I got this, I thought this would be some sort of serum - ie. gel-like texture. But this is an oil, 2oz of liquid oil. It's a lot natural comparative to other Valmont's products, the first ingredient in this is soy bean oil, second is calendula. This has very healing and soothing ingredients and it absorbs very quickly, not really greasy and does not leave a film. I've been using this everyday both AM and PM now for a month or more and I LOVE IT. It completely hydrated my skin on the inside and I am not oily on the surface either. My patches healed up with no new ones appearing. The super thin lines that appear on my cheeks when I smile (that you can't see unless you stare super close at my face or in the mirror) are non-existent anymore.
This totally beats all the other face oils I've tried including Yonka Serum, Silkia Camellia Oil, Primavera Camellia Oil, Primavera Avocado Oil, I feel Pretty face oils, Dr. H's normalizing oil, PSF's oil - let's just say this beat them all!
This product is part of Valmont's baby line and the price is super reasonable - 50CAD for 2oz of OIL! I seem to use this up fairly quickly though - I'm 1/3 out already.
I would recommend this for any skin type but if you're super dry I suggest another cream on top. I've been going back to more mainstream brands and have been layering Decleor's Harmonie Soothing Cream on top at night. This is the perfect combo for me and I went from raw, red, peeling skin to smooth skin with no more flakies! |

Thanks for sharing this one, sormuimui! It sounds fantastic. Is there anything else in it besides soybean oil and calendula? ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |
