How is it different than rose hip oil and where can I get some good quality oil? I know it can be used for stretch marks but what else can it be used for that rosehip oil wouldn't be used for? Thanks all! |

Help is on the way! Rose Mosqueta Oil is the same as Rosehip Seed Oil, which I believe (not 100 % sure) often is referred to as Rosehip Oil. |

Hi, AM.
You can check out the Rose Hip seed oils from Trilogy, Kosmea and The Organic Pharmacy. All of these are expensive, high quality oils. I am not 100 per cent sure that they are Rosa Mosqueta, but you will find out if you do a Google search. |

I forgot to mention Neil's Yard Remedies Rosehip Seed oil, which I have been very happy with. You can also check out Aubrey Organics Rosa Mosqueta oil, which is less expensive. HTH. |

Be careful with rosehip oil... It can break you out easily, since it is one of the richest oils out there. It is excellent for really dry, sensitive skins, especially in winter. It is mostly used in mature skin applications.

i have been using rosa mosqueta for about 3-4 years now. I love to use this around my eyes. Even though I am terribly breakout prone/oily my eyelids are so dry and peely in the winter. This is the ONLY thing that I have found that gets rid of the peelies and fast. I have been using Aubrey Organics rosa mosqueta oil which last time I bought at Whole Foods, you might want to check your local one to see if they have it. I think it was about $14 last time I bought it (2 years ago)

Thanks for that avalange! Do you know that the Kosmea site says rosehip oil is good for acne-ed, oily, combo skin? Is there any truth to that? Did I order their products for nothing...

Anyone on the oily skin/rosehip oil deal? Is it really good for this kind of skin type as Kosmea says?
