| I've got to know this name from the net which it emphasises the use of mineral content. What's the advantage of using mineral? And any drawback? |

I found this on the Jane Iredale site about the advantages of using minerals:

I have sensitive skin and use some of the products, mostly eye products. They are great and last. The gold shimmer is great (and makes a nice gift).
One thing to keep in mind about skin care and cosmetics is mineral oil. It clogs pores, so always look at the ingredients. EDS does it's best to provide that, and if it is not complete, try the website. I never purchase products from a company that will not disclose the ingredients. |

| I've been using JI loose and pressed foundation powders (in different shades, have repurchased) for years. I like the quality; my skin has improved since using this line so I haven't experimented with other mineral powder brands. I use JI eye shadows and a blush too, occasionally. |
