What kind of hair do you have?
Colored or not?
Dry or oily?
Thick, coarse, or fine? |

Hi Miko, is your scalp sensitive or are you allergic to sulphates etc? If so, I highly recommend Phyto or Giovanni shampoos as they are organic/sulphates-free and also light enough to be used daily |

I have heard that Ojon is good for think hair. I'm totally jealous - I have baby-fine hair!
Sephora has a "best of" Ojon products gift box... |

Have you tried Aveda range? Their line has a variety to choose from and it is a salon brand. I like it because it is based on natural ingredients and aromatherapy. It should not dry your hair out if you wash it everyday and you need a small amount of it. Look it up at
www.aveda.com
It is a pity EDS does not stock Aveda. |

I use baby shampoo. It's safe and not irritate to my skin. |

do u know you can just use conditioner only instead of using daily shampoo?
Excessive shampooing will wash out too much of your natural oil on your hair. That is not good. Just a thought...
Anyway, if you insists, go with baby shampoo on every other day along with your regular shampoo in between |

I recall reading some posts saying we'd better avoid conditioner on scalp as that might cause hair loss - sorry, forget why... |

Can I just say one thing? I have been using Wen Cleansing Conditioners for the past several months and I LOVE THEM. I will never shampoo my hair again!
Ok, so I admit I was suckered into trying it after watching a very convincing half-hour informercial (aren't they all?). Anyway, I didn't call the 800# but I did find it on eBay in a 6oz trial size, and FELL IN LOVE. There are six different cleansing conditioners and lots of hair masks and styling balms. I haven't tried them all but I've tried 3 of the 5 and my favorite cleansing conditioners are the Sweet Almond Mint and Cucumber Aloe.
My hair is highlighted, never grows beyond shoulder length, and is baby fine. I never felt like it was bouncy or shiny, despite using expensive shampoos and conditioners for years.
First, I bought a filter for the shower that removes chlorine & other metals usually found in tap water which damage your hair & skin.
Then, I invested in a T3 Evolution Blow Dryer with tourmaline, which retails for $300 but I found new on eBay for $150. SO WORTH THE INVESTMENT! Not only does it dry my hair lightning quick, but my hair doesn't feel dried out when I'm done. It feels super soft and bouncy.. very touchable! Yeah, $150 is a lot to spend on a blow dryer, but we girls spend a lot on skincare products & gadgets and a great blow dryer is a solid investment, trust me! (Wanna run your fingers through my hair? lol )
And finally, I can't say enough about what a difference NOT shampooing my hair has made. The WEN retails for $28 for a 16oz bottle, which acts as a shampoo & conditioner in one. Another worthy investment, your hair will love it.
Ok, so maybe that was more than just one thing.. but I'm thrilled about the turn around my hair has had and it's nice to pass along how that happened for me to others. Thanks! |

i can't afford expensive salon shampoos but i found them a bit heavy for my hair anyway. i have long below the waist hair, baby fine, even with the silver in it. but i always get compliments on my hair when i use sunsilk shampoos and conditioners. they smell nice and there are different formulas for all types hair. i also use clairol herbal essence shampoo and conditioner for long hair. i switch back and forth. i think these are better than the salon shampoos! at least they work for me. |
