When you apply Giorgio Armani lip wax with a brush it is like a lipstick and when you apply it with your fingers it is like a gloss, but it is amazing stuff either way. For those who like a sheer wash of color applying it with your fingers works great. It's even better when you apply some lip gloss over it. It is a long lasting formula and does not disappear as quickly as sheer lipsticks. I have it in Shade #3 which is a beautiful sienna color that I think would work on just about anyone. This would make a great gift for the makeup junkie who has everything. You can purchase it here:

This product sounds great, Jom. Can you give a description of the #3 that you have. I am thinking #2 or #3 for myself. I always am afraid of anything too brown or orangy. |

I have #2, I thought #3 looked too brown but I didn't try it..#2 is more of a pink YLBB color, not nude. The #1 is nude..as in I looked like a corpse. I really like it but I don't think it looks like a gloss when applied lightly. It's definitely very matte but creamy, not drying. There have been a few people that did find it drying though, so it's something I'd try before purchasing...Armani ain't giving his stuff away Have I mentioned lately how much I love face fabric? |

#3 is on the brown side but I don't think it's too brown, it's a warm shade that's not at all orangey, maybe slightly red. #2 is much different and a cool tone. |

I swear, if you try #3 you'll wonder why you ever bought #2 |

I'll give my favorite SA a call tomorrow.
I'm starting to like macaroni & cheese anyway |

It was the SA who turned me on to the #3, I tried on #2 and was ready to buy it but she said #3 would be better for me and when I tried it on - Wow! - she was right, I think it's just the perfect shade but I know what's right for me won't necessarily be good for anyone else!
P.S. Peanut butter and crackers might be a nice change from the mac & cheese (just make sure the crackers are whole grain!) |

OMG, am always looking for that perfect lip colour. Get one then I change my mind. But have always wanted to try GA... didn't know you could get it at EDS, will have to look..... No#3 looks brown, and No#2 looks pastel pink. I am looking for that crushed rosebud look, that colour that children have on their lips - does anyone have any suggestions? |

Hi, emma-claire. Well according to Marina above, the #2 is pink, but a YLBB. So, that might be what you are looking for in the GA lip wax anyway. |

#2 is definitely not a crushed rosebud shade |

Hi This question is for Jom. What is your coloring? Do you thing #3 will look good on someone really fair skinned? I have GA foundation, and although I don't wear it often, I do love it. The Saks Fifth Avenue that carries it is about 50 minutes from my place, and I just can't bring myself to spending a large part of my Sunday driving. Look forward to your reply! |

Hi c4ward, I am faired skinned with pink undertones. Strangely enough I am able to wear cool tones as well as some warm tones. I think #3 is a slightly warm tone. I really think #3 is a universally flattering shade. If you put it on with your finger it will be a sheer wash of color, if you put it on with a brush it is a little darker. Let me know how you like it if you decide to get it! |
