Anyone do this? I did it a couple times many years ago; the second time wasn't really necessary. I don't have any stomach problems; I just did it to try. Cleaning yourself out on the inside must surely have a good effect on your skin. I must say, I felt euphoric afterward. I'm thinking of going back.
Anyone else? |

No one? Well I had it done over the weekend. Can't say it was pleasant, but I actually lost 500 grams, and felt great afterward. |

I would never have one.. I have had to have 2 colonoscopies and the prep will clean you out like theres no tomorrow. You are empty, empty. I really don't understand the point of a colonic.. a good old fashion coffee enema should do the trick and it's cheap. |

Just curious... how is a coffee enema better than just using water? |

Have to go from memory here, but I think the coffee causes the liver to contract, whereas water just flushes debris thats caught up. When the liver contracts, it releases a lot of the old rubbish it holds on to, and thus it gets flushed out as well.
Colonics and enemas are good in that they help the skin (which is also an organ of elmination) not get stressed out, and thus lightens the load (so to speak) of the duties of the skin.

I'll just rely on psyllium and lots of water. Just the thought of the process makes me feel ill.... |

I read about it in a health magazine a while back..then I just looked it up on the net and it can be dangerous. It's suppose to detoxify the liver and gallbladder..but who really knows. I do know people who swear by colonics. I personally wouldn't have it done because of the whole colonoscopy experience. |
