A book i enjoyed and still look through for inspiration is: Barbara Close "Pure Skin, Organic Beauty Basics". Gives you a naturopathic view on skin care (inside-out) and also some good recipes for different skin types.
Hope this helps |

Obagi's Skin Health and Restoration. I thought it was a good read as far as telling what Retin A, AHA, HQ does. As well as informing the reader of Dr. Obagi's philosophy on skin care. I don't, however, think it was worth the $200+! |

Dr. Denese's Secrets for Ageless Skin --taken from one of my previous posts:
"book mentions cleansing with AHA's and toning, Vit. C Serums, Retinols, Argereline, Hyaluronic Acid, peels, microdermabrasion, etc. She also gives recommendations on name products. I noticed in her book, that she says using a Cleanser and Toner is not enough exfoliation on a daily basis. She states that one should use Glycolic Pads with at least 8% to 10% glycolic acid after cleansing and toning on a daily basis." |

ww.Smartskincare.com has some very informative and science-based info packets that you can download without charge. I found the one on skin rejuvenation interesting and useful and learned from it. Take a look:

I forgot about the Danial Yarosh book, The New Science of Perfect Skin. I also thought that this was a good read, and pretty informative. |

I really enjoyed this one too, and learned quite a lot from it. |

For basics, I enjoyed The Beauty Bible. Begoun seems to have a lot of ill-wishers on various forums...not sure why. Simple and informative book. |
