Ok, now...bet you're thinking what the hell are double eyelid clips
Well, here's a pic of them in an ebay listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/MAGIC-Double-Eyelid-Clip-bye-bye-small-eyes-1-pair_W0QQitemZ270315401509QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270315401509
They claim to create double eyelids in 5 minutes of using them. You just clip on onto the lids and wait 5 minutes then you'll enjoy having double eyelids for the entire day. I did a bit of research and read that it DOES NOT hurt but....it does! I expected to not feel a thing, but when I clipped them on, I had to take it off immediately. However, a couple more tries and I got it in a right position, and then it didnt hurt as much.
First of all, I do have double eyelids, just that on one eye, the crease is deeper so it looks as though one eye's bigger than another (and it doesnt help that my eyebrows arent symmetrical so one brows raised a bit more than the other ). So I was thinking of either getting glue or tape then stumbled upon the clip. It was relatively cheap and was featured on this Taiwanese beauty show. I also wanted something that was easy to use and isnt obvious like the eyelid tape, cos I dont wear eye makeup, so cannot conceal the tape on my lids. So I bought it off ebay along with eyelid tape so save on shipping (didnt get the glue as the seller didnt have it on sale).
I've tried the clip 3 times already and whilst it does give me a deeper crease, it returns back to its normal state within an hour. I've yet to increase the time to maybe 10-15 minutes instead of the 5 minutes though, so I might try that next week.
If all that fails, then my last resort would be to try the eyelid glue, which I've heard can stretch the eye are and create wrinkles But, its either that or people coming up to me and saying that I've got something on my eyelid and helping me get it off
I will try increasing the usage time of the clip and report back! |

Hi yeahyeah, your eyes sound like mine. I have double eyelids too but one eye, the crease is bigger than the other. I've been trying to hide it with eye makeup but can't do that all the time as it gets quite annoying. Too bad the clip only makes it last an hr. Wish it can last the whole day! |

Hiya
Yeah, its a shame it doesnt last longer, cos based on the product description, it sounds sooo good! I just used it an hour ago but this time for 10 minutes, but its still the same
I think I will stop trying now cos once I take the clip off, my eyelids are slight red and sore but that wears off soon.
I read on another forum that someone wore eyelid tapes day and night, and eventually she had double eyelids and can stop using the tapes. I think I'm gonna try that too |

Really? I'm using the koji slim eye tape. Its reallt slim/thin and its the 2nd time that I'm using it now. I'm gonna wear it all day long, even when I'm sleeping
I'm planning on cutting it in halves as the tape is too long and obvious, but if I cut it into smaller bits, it looks ok.
You should buy the slim ones and trim it so it fits your lids better |
