Hi everyone,
Happy Holidays! I am brand new here and I am so happy to have found this site! I am a 38 year old Canadian woman living in Tokyo and I was recommended by my derm here to use the Nu Derm system for acne scarring , hyperpigmentation and fine lines. Due to the MAJOR price difference (think 5 times the price!), I have ordered from EDS and am so glad to see these great forums.
I should be receiving the kit early in the new year, and haven't ordered the Vit C serum, but am curious to find out if you have tried Nu Derm with it. Does anyone have any information/suggestions about whether it is a good idea to include it with the system or is it not really necessary?
Thanks in advance for any answers!

Hi, sianintokyo, and welcome! If you use the search feature located at the top of the forum, and type in Obagi, you will find countless threads on the subject to read!
That said, there are a lot of us who use a topical C with the Nu Derm. I used Skinceuticals C, E, Ferulic and I strongly believe this product really helped in the process of fading my freckles. It is not necessary to use a topical C, though. Maybe wait until you have done 6 weeks of the system and see how you are liking your skin at that time before adding it in. |

Great idea rileygirl! I think that is sensible-to wait until around the 6 week mark or so. I have been reading a lot of the threads and see you are an Obagi goddess:) Thank you for all of your great advice! |
