If this doesn't belong in this section, I apologize. You all know a lot about beauty so I felt I'd ask anyways.
Do you all know any temporary hair coloring you can brush in and then wash out with water? I want to put back in my honey blonde highlights but I only want to wear them during the weekends.
If anyone knows any products like this please let me know. |

What is your current haircolor...lighter or darker than the highlights you mentioned? |

That's going to be a challenge...most temporary colors darken your hair or add a tint, like adding red to blonde hair.
You will need to find something that is the equivalent of hair paint to cover up the darker base color. |

You could try a temp haircolor called Colormark.
It is wonderful to hide grey hair that comes creeping in when I still have to wait a bit to recolor. Lots of color choices as well and looks very natural.
I know your situation is different but maybe worth a try?

Temporary products are formulated to be rinsed out with a shampoo. There are several types of temporary products available, including sprays, mousses, gels, rinses, and sticks. Unlike permanent hair color, temporary versions do not contain ammonia. As a result, the color doesn't penetrate the hair shaft. It is deposited only on the outside of the shaft, and the color lasts only from one shampoo to the next.
These products are ideal for individuals who aren't interested in changing their look for long. Parties, holidays, and concerts are just a few occasions that might call for a temporary makeover. Then there are people who've often toyed with the idea of coloring their hair, but haven't actually risen to the challenge yet.
You can find it in convenience stores. |

The only thing I can think of is hair mascara - i think Shiseido sells this - you might check around on ebay as it isn't sold with their regular product line.
I also am not sure if they have normal "human" hair colours, as when I did see it, it seemed to be blue, pink, etc...
The hair mascara will stiffen your hair and make is very "piecey" so it won't be a natural look. I'm also not sure what kind of coverage you'll get over dark hair. |

How's about this one?
Jerome Russell's Temporary Spray-in Natural Color Highlights
This product is great for covering roots when you can't get to the salon yet and easy to wash up.... also used lightly, it adds a nice sheen to fading color... Also you can spray some on a toothbrush & then add to eyebrows (not lashes!!). It is NOT permanent color....it does rub off, so be careful not to get against light furniture or clothing. |

I have also tried the Jerome Russell Spray-On Temp Color...and I would say it's not bad at all! I found it in Walgreens Pharmacy; very cheap and it does cover my roots when I couldn't get to a salon. They come in several colors. |
