I used to use SC B5 gel over their serum 20 and my skin is almost normal now, from being dry for all my life. If you don't want to go for the expense of the SC stuff try relaxaline...it has hyaluronic acid in it and it beats wrinkles and then put whatever moisturiser on top...i'm using DrH rose cream at the moment, but before I was using stri-vectin which isn't really a moisturiser and that was fine

Hi Becks,
I'm 25 with dry to combo skin. I switched to the Deramlogica Sheer Tint Moisture in Light instead of foundation cause EVERY foundation clogged my pores and made me break out. I still use moisturizer under the sheer tint moisture. Right now it is the Phytomer Hydra Continue. But I did have some samples of the Dr.H rose cream and this is fabulous. I have also heard great things about their quince day cream too.
Haven't tried any of the Dermalogica booster so I can't comment. Is you sheer tint tinted??
That way it wouldn't feel like a total waste to use 2 moisturizers.
I also LOVE Jurlique, them make a really nice day lotion which is creamy & rich and would be great for very dry skin. I use their Herbal Recovery Gel at night and then the day lotion on top cause it's a bit to heavy for me in the daytime.
For eye cream, my #1 is the Phytomer Lift Contour Replensing gel emulsion. You can do a search and read all the past post we have written. It is great.
Cheers,
Andrea |

Do you guys know that in order for Vitamin C to work on the skin you need a pH level of 2.5? That's a very low pH which may lead to irritation. How would you know if the product you're using has low enough pH, or do you even care? |

My Dermalogica Sheer Moisture is not tinted so I thought using it as only a moisture. I have Hausckas products but they do not seem to moister by skin enough. By buying the booster (Dermalogica) I thought I could continue to use the Sheer l Moisture ( I really don’t ant to leave it in the back of the shelf ). Anyone have a good experience of it? |

Hi Becks,
In response to your original post, I have found that using MD Fortes Replenish Hydrating Moisturizer to be very effective for my dry/sensitive skin. I have used this in conjunction with Skinceuticals Serum 15 and have had no reaction. Hope this helps.

I just put in an order for a SC B5 gel to put over my Vit C 15(. I hope it will do the work! In this case I can put my Dermalogica sheer moister over it ( and it will not finish in a closet!!)
Thank you for all your advices girls ! |

ONCE per day! It is best in the morning, followed by Hydra B-5 Gel. If you are using Serum 20, a better hydrating product would be Cellex-C's Advanced Skin Hydration. Follow with your moisturizer. Skin Smoothing Creme is great. |

Would that depend on what form of Vitamin C is being used? I know from other discussions that there are different forms, some being more stable than others, etc. Is it possible that differents forms require different pH of the skin?
I really don't know; I'm just asking.

The SC B5 gel is a good choice as is the MDF hydrating gel (can't recall exact name sorry). I have actually used the Dermalogica booster over vit C serums before and I thought it did a good job. I've got normal to combo skin though. I have found that Vivier serums leave my skin feeling less tight (not tight at all actually) than the SC serums. I would say that the SC serums are more suited to oilier skin types but then again that is just my assessment. |
