O.K.,I've been using this "revolutionary"fairness gel from Aviance(of unilever) and in the name of making people fairer, it's made my face very greasy though my skin is not of oily type. Is anyone of ya' guys experiencing this problem with aviance? Does aviance also belong to the category of fairness creams that promise a lot but deliver none?
H.W.
P.S. Any ideas on combating that unwanted greasiness?? |

You said that Unilever makes the product you're using. I'm betting that as a drugstore/supermarket brand, that the product contains ingredients which are too astringent for your skin. If this is the case, your skin is being over-stripped, and is comphensating for moisture loss, by producing more oil. `Sounds weird, I know, but this is what happens.
To balance and hydrate the skin, I recommend considering the following basic products: Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel and Active Moist moisturizer. If your skin is more dehydrated in the winter, add the Hydrating Booster to your moisturizer. |
