I was out shopping for some sunscreen yesterday and I was very surprised to find that Neutrogena has labeled their sunscreens with such high spf indexes. Spf 98 for face, for real? I don't know what to think of that.
I bought one from Neutrogena, called "pure&free baby", I guess it is designed for baby. Oh well I am going to use it on myself. This is a pure physical one with 4.9% Titanium dioxide and 4.7 zinc oxide. Again it is labled as Spf 60+. Really? I thought the percentage of those two active ingredients is only just as high as the DDF organic spf 30. I have decided to ignore the spf index because I think they have been rated too high. I am only to use this one as a travel touch-up because pure physical ss can provide instant protection and 3 oz package is easy to carry.
Can someone share your thoughts on weather such high spf is believable? |

I am wondering the same thing. I too noticed this when shopping in the store the other day. |
