This was what my understanding was...but now I understand that there is some debate about whether Vit C oxidizes when exposed to the sun.
I'm going to do a poll about whether people use their Vit C in the morning or evening!
I was doing A.M. but I'm going to switch if the poll shows me otherwise. |

I've been using it am for the last 9 mos. Then I read the same info you did. I started using it at night before RA for awhile, but switched back because am just fit my routine better.
With the lifestyle I have right now, I'm seldom in the sun so it really doesn't matter when I apply it. If I worked, or otherwise spent alot of time outdoors, I think I would use it at night just to be on the safe side. I never quite believed it added much, if anything, in the way of sun protection, but I never researched scientific papers on that subject. |

I use my C in the AM.
My understanding is that once the C is absorbed into the skin it shouldn't be a problem with oxidation. I wait 30 min anyway after using my C serum to apply my SS in the morning so that should be plenty of time.
C+E ferulic adds spf 8, but I have no idea about the ppd of it. |
