Hello again
I have a question about what product to use to exfoliate my chest area. I am getting the tca on my face and neck but can not get it on my chest since I am having implants at the same time. I don't want my face and neck to look all smooth and lighter than my chest so I need an "at home" kind of peel to use there.
Also I have terrible dark circles under my eyes..not the kind you get from bags as I have no fat under the eyes. They are dark purple slash marks not quite vertical but not horizontal either. The dark purple is under the skin. A nice firming mask would be nice too. I would appreciate any recommendations for these problems.
Thanks

My recommendation in regards to the dark circles would be the PTR Power K Eye Rescue cream. It's worked very well on my dark circles when nothing else would. It contains vit K which is often used by surgeons to reduce bruising etc There is also Eye Bright by CellularSkinRx. It's a nice hydrating gel, particularly useful if you use vit C serums around your eyes. I haven't seen much results with it but have seen good reports about it here. |

...I think the eyebright is only for light circles...I reckon heavy ones would need some PTR stuff |

Beeba,
I use the Eye Bright but have used the PTR as well. I think they both do a good job of lightening up your undereye circles. I get the EB now because it works and it is not so expensive. As for your exfoliation question, I think enzyme peels/scrubs are a nice gentle way to dissolve the top layer of dead skin. I have used Adrien Arpel's Papaya Enzyme scrub and like to use it as a mask on my body to get rid of dead skin. For physical exfoliation, I have been using the Polishing Grains from cellularskinrx.com. (Same site as the EB product) They are a very fine powder made from adzuki beans (something that asian women have been using for ages to smooth their skin)...I mix them with pretty much any cleanser/oil/moisturizer I have on hand to make an exfoliating paste and then use on legs, chest, elbows, etc. besides my face. It's just a nice easy way to turn everything you own into a scrub. Good luck with your TCA and your implants! |
