I was wondering if anyone could help. I am fair skinned and have very pale lips. I find that lipsticks wear off easily. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for anything that lasted longer or was more permanent? |

Hi stephanie128, I'm a fellow pale-lipped person! I use the L2K system (there's a huge thread on it here on the forum) and that has helped me tremendously. It restored some of the natural color I had as a child. I don't know if I'll see any more improvement in that area, and like you, I still like color on my lips when I go out. And, whatever I put on doesn't last very long - especially when I drink or eat something - no matter what long-wearing stain it's supposed to be, even the L2K long-wearing colors. So that's a continuing search. I'm too chicken to do permanent (tatooing) lip color. L2K has gotten my lips in great condition, so I'm considering trying one of the LipSense colors with gloss. I know, I know - it's not L2K, but I won't know unless I try, right?
FYI - I've been using L2K for almost 18 months now. I never wanted JLo lips or anything, but L2K has poofed out my upper lip a little, more than it was when I was a child, judging by photographs. |

Hesperidin is supposed to bring the color back to pale lips. It is sold by SAS (skinactives.com) and GOW (gardenofwisdom.com). According to SAS, "For dull lips, mix 2.5 g in 1 fl oz vaseline and apply twice a day." I personally mix it into my lip balm. |

Steph, have you ever tried Lip Venom from Duwop? It's a lip plumper, but it also makes your lips look more pink too. The effects usually last a couple hours on me--- it might be worth trying! |

I bought from Europe a bunch of those lipsticks that are green, blue, purple, black, etc and when applied to lips become different tones of red/pink. It is a lipstick that lasts all day long, despite eating, drinking, kissing.... I bought 5 about 10 years ago and still have them after almost daily usage. I think this type of lipstick would be a great make-up solution for you. Does anyone know if this can be found in North America? |

Following up on my previous post: the lipsticks that change color to shades of pink/red when applied are called magic lipsticks and there are plenty for sale on ebay. |
