Hello to All.
I am new to this board. In fact, I am new to any board. Leave it to my new interest in skin care to persuade me to figure out my computer.....
Has anyone on this board tried Lancome Resurface Peel? I have read some great things about the product in several magazines, but I would love to skip the sales pitch and get an honest opinion from a real person.
Thanks! |

I'm tempted as well. Haven't tried it yet - although I almost did b/c they were in "free gift" with purchase last week.
Need to hear a great review first!

I do Micro-derm once a month, but I'd like a home kit type thing to do about 2 weeks in. I'm going on thursday, and I'll ask my facialist, what she thinks about these home versions.

I think it's a waste of money.. it's only 8% glycolic acid. and who knows what HP level... and for a $145 or what ever the price is you can get something for way less |

Can you suggest other products that are safe to use and that work? I am fairly unfamiliar with this type of skin care but I am very interested in achieving the results that they claim to offer.
I tried the Lancome product. I generally have sensitive skin (redness and even hives rather than other types of break outs) I am really thrilled that my skin didn't burn (my usual reaction to anything advertising wrinkle help)
Diminishing fine lines seems like such a subjective goal to me, I have yet to use a product and say, "aha! my fine lines are diminished!)" I WAS surprised to see any and all blackheads I once had GONE after using this product several times. I feel in general, my skin is "cleaning up" after a few uses, not drastic results, but I would most likely try this again.
The suggested usage is 2x per week and then rest the skin for at least one month. I DO like the final moisturizing step. It soothes without feeling greasy.
I'll report back in if I feel differently about this product when I have finished the whole process. |
