This Lip Conditioner is shaped like a lipstick - I like that!!!!
It has a faint scent of vanilla - I like that too!!!
It's white but leaves no white residue on the lips - very good!!!
It only costs 12 bucks - and it's worth every penny, could cost more and still be well worth it (don't tell Caudalie) - very positive!
I've been useing this as a night time moisturizer before bed. It goes on smoothley and isn't sticky or gooey or anything. In the morning I wake up with well moisturized lips that look happy and taken care of.
all in all - this is a keeper!!! |

I've been using this as well for the last week or so. It is quite good and feels nice on the lips - not sticky but does last. Also, makes a nice base for lip liner and lippy. I still prefer my Decleor lip balm (which, unlike this, is not portable or convenient, but feels more moisturising). I'm not fond of the vanilla scent because it reminds me of some promo lipbalms that the Uni did a while back - very *very* similar scent |

mmmmm...I like the vanilla, just because it is faint... I wouldn't say this is a HG product but it's good! |

I just got this a few days ago. I must say I was a bit disappointed by the fact that petroleum was the first ingredient, AND that it contained parabens (I thought Caudalie stopped using paraben??). That being said, I like the lipstick-style packaging, the sugary smell, and the texture. It makes a great lipstick base--- not too heavy, not too light or greasy. |

I totally agree that it makes a good lipstick base...but I prefer something more emollient for night use(Kiehls )....It is my 3 year old daughters's official lipstick and she takes great pride that she hs a White Lipstick of her own. The way she makes a pout and puts it on make sme laugh everytime |

I got this at sephora a few months ago. the lipstick tip was awesome at first but then it bugged me since it takes longer to apply so i applied it til it was blunt at the top the sales girl at sephora claims it has an spf, but i don't see it anywhere on the label. anyhow, it is an average product for me, but the packaging is very beautiful and i still would like to try Caudalie products in the future. i liked Dr. Hashuka's and Elizabeth Arden lip condition much better (spf 15). |

I'm so impressed with this lip product, I had to log onto EDS and rave about it.
I came across a great review for this product and decided to give it a try. At first I was annoyed to have paid $12 for something whose primary ingredients were common mineral oil and paraffin, but I can't believe how well this stuff works. The other ingredients must be really effective because I noticed a difference within a couple of days. I've been using this for about 6 weeks every night before bed. My lips used to be dry and a little bit flaky, but not anymore. |

Maybe this fall I will give this one a try. I normally use Rosebud Salve. |

My kids (they are older) love the Rosebud salve, but it is a little messier to apply than a stick. I think this might be a good alternative for them for ski season. Thanks for the tip! |

I just finished a tube of this and I can't get enough of it! It glides on easily and it's not sticky. Best of all it's very moisturizing. Love the shea butter ingredient too! I think this is my new HG until I get bored and want to try something new! My lips are always dry and cracking in the winter, this one fixes it right up! |

I finished a tube of this years ago and did not find it that special. It was not that moisturizing in my experience. There are so many raves about this lately that I wonder if they changed the formula. At any rate, I used the whole darn tube and remember thinking it did not warrant a second chance. Cute packaging though and it smells ok--a not too plasticky vanilla. |

I used some Caudalie products many years ago, not impressed at all. This lip conditioner is not moisturizing, and I don't like vanilla scent. |

Okay this is really bugging me even though it's just a lip conditioner. I wonder if Caudalie changed the formula for this one because I repurchased this twice from when I first tried it in Feb and both times it was different from the first.....
No more subtle vanilla flavour in the one I bought from Sephora, and it feels like they added way more beeswax than before. Overall, not liking how it is now and I'm hitting myself for not ordering this through EDS sooner rather than having to make a quick buy at a local store. |

I found a way to soften my lips and make it feel great. Perhaps you may like to try it. Out of frustration, I devised my own method, not medically proven but harmless.
First, apply a little bit of olive oil or shear butter (preferred) or any cooking oil to your lip and rub it in very well. Leave it on for a minute. Fill a cup or a small bowl with warm water and soak in your lip for about a minute and a half. With a soft towel, wipe your lip as you press gently to remove all peels. Repeat the process if need be but not more than once. Dry your lip and apply your preferred lip balm ( Rosebud I prefer). Ensure your lip is greased all day. You will be surprised on the second day, how beautiful your lip you look. It can be done at most, once in two weeks to avoid irritation. I hope it works for you. Cheers.

Hmmm, I'm wondering if the US formulation is different from the European one? I bought a bunch of these in France - and absolutely love them. But, I don't notice any vanilla scent (faint or otherwise) at all... |

Although this lip balm is a little hard, but i really like it. this feels very different from any other lip balms. It could help me to do some scrub on my lip, which is very essential--make lips pink and younger. |

I love lip balms. This one is in my top 5. Like the scent and make my lips soft. Not waxy. |

It appears that Caudalie has indeed updated the formula from what you ladies previously reported. The current list of ingredients are as follows;
INGREDIENTS : HELIANTHUS ANNUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL*, RICINUS COMMUNIS (CASTOR) SEED OIL*, CERA ALBA (BEESWAX), ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) BRAN WAX*, CETYL PALMITATE*, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA BUTTER) EXTRACT*, COPERNICA CERIFERA (CARNAUBA) WAX*, EUPHORBIA CERIFERA (CANDELILLA) WAX*, VITIS VINIFERA (GRAPE) SEED OIL*, CETEARYL ALCOHOL*, CETYL ALCOHOL*, PALMITIC ACID*, STEARIC ACID*, HYDROGENATED STEARYL OLIVE ESTERS*, PRUNUS ARMENIACA (APRICOT) KERNEL OIL*, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), PALMITOYL GRAPE SEED EXTRACT*, HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL*, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE*, AMMONIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE*, GLYCERYL OLEATE, TOCOPHEROL, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, CITRIC ACID.
* Origine végétale
It looks pretty good to me, like it may live up to its antioxidant claims. It does contain "fragrance" for those who have irritations, but I find this to be remarkably moisturizing with good "sink-in" qualities as opposed to being merely slippery or waxy. I do love my waxy Burt's Bees, but this may be a new contender. |
