Lush Dream Cream is awesome! When your skin feels itchy or irritated, it's an instant ahhh sigh of relief. It feels so soothing, and smells nice. Dream wash is lovely cause it has calamine, and psychologically speaking, I associate calamine with soothing and healing. The packaging is absolutely horrible. Went on vacation and had the Dream Cream enclosed in a zip lock bag, the darn thing spilled all over! I can't even imagine what would have happened to the content of my suitcase, if the lotion wasn't enclosed in plastic. For the price, Lush should work on packaging. |

Now for the tough question. How does it compare to the MB Healing Cream? I ask because Lush is more accessible to me than MB... |

er, i'll just like to say that dream cream IS the most expensive moisturiser i have put on my body i used to use any cheap ones will do - dove, vaseline, nivea, sorbelene....u know....them ones in the big tubs.... have since finished my tub of dream cream and reverted back to dove and it just so happens that that very night i started to ITCH, so i started scratching (the most itchiest part was b/w me boobs ) and a week has gone by now and the scar has not gone away so i will need to buy another tub of dream cream now, oh the shame of even thinking that i could get away with using cheap supermarket brands to save me some money! never again! I've learnt my lesson Lush! |

I finally found the website, but can't find any of the masks? Looks like they don't sell the masks on the US site.

Mabsy,
The Mario Badescu healing cream comes in a tiny jar and is made to be used more as a treatment cream. The lush is definitely more of an all over body lotion. Although I love both, the healing cream is my holy grail product |

I know I am stupid as I think you mean the Mb I can tellyou have bought and my daughter uses this on her hands as she gets ezcema and the cream is great much better than stuff the doctor gave her. I was recommended to try by a very nice person on this site.
Thanks again thoughtcrime for recommendation. |

lush dream cream is great for ppl with eczema, its a hand and body cream....i personally wouldnt waste money on their hand cream tho when u can get a big tub that can do both! has anyone tried their Sympathy for the Skin moisturiser? This stuff smells like vanilla custard with a hint of banana to me! but it doesnt do wonders like the dream cream unfortunately. |

I miss Potion, think it was the violet smell. I did have a pot of SFTS and it was great on my legs after shaving.
You're right about the packaging, I remember when they changed it to those black tubs a lot of people complained about things spilling.
I use the orange massage bar for my hands. |

thanks for clarifying Lianne. Just a bit of boring information. I used to work for lush and got to try loads of products. Now I keep hearing about their newish stuff I am tempted to ask for my job back.It definately smells better there than the care home I work at now. LOL |

old age home vs lush smell?
...Stale old person stink or overload kill my sinuses, make my nose run stink? It's a bit of a toss up...I suppose you'd get used to the lush smell quicker |

Loopylori,
Oh I am sooo glad that you and your daughter liked the Mario Badescu healing cream! I that cream so much. I frankly wish it came in large tubs. for those interestd in trying it, FYI it's really used for acne, but I found out it's great for eczema as well from reading MUA reviews. |

crinklecut,
angels on bare skin is a cleanser! ive tried it and its really gentle. u only need a fingernail size to wash ur whole face. but have to make sure it doesnt get wet otherwise it'll go mouldy. |

I use this as well. But I use it the same way as I do Dr H cleansing cream and Jurlique cleansing cream; i.e. on a makeup-free face.
I think in general the Lush AOBS is gentle but it does have lavender seeds in it and it's these that might irritate sensitive skins. You could pick them out I guess... |

Cool Loopy.
One of the things that gets me about Lush - it's good that they are looking to revise their product list - the down side is of course when they cut a product we love. The two body scrub/washes were fantastic, eg Strawberry boat. Now they've got the scrub/massage bars - which are good but to me serve a different purpose.
BTW have you tried any of the cosmetic line they've brought out? The mascara is really nice. |

crinklecut,
lush dream wash is very nice, it has calamine in it. Don't expect it to foam or smell pretty though. It's made as a healing wash. |

Trywww.mariobadescu.com for the Mario Badescu healing cream. It is the one product I cannot live without. I frankly wish they made a tub of it because I go though the jar so fast! MB are also great with samples, albeit slow. If you fill out their questionnaire about your skin type they will send a ton of samples. I don't know if they will give out free samples internationally, but they may for Canada. |

MB don't send samples to Uk. I filled in form and they sent me a lovely email with a list of things they think I need and apologised very prettily for not being able to send freebies to Uk.
I also agree that the pots are too small. Last time I ordered two pots. It should come by the gallon. Although now my daughter is also using the lush dream cream, which she was keeping in the fridge and it nearly got eaten by the guys in the house. Any how I digress she is alternating between the lush and MB so it is lasting a bit longer.

I have hand eczema and found Dream Cream to be an irritating product.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with eczema. Use Curel fragrance free moisturizer instead. |
