In my quest to understand LED light more, I tried searching this topic outside of EDS. I found a post concerning LED light (red/infrared) causing a black woman more hyperpigmentation problem on realself.com.

I wonder if this has anything to do with her having a lot of pigments in her skin due to her race. So perhaps LED light doesn't work for all races, but only whites?

There's claim that green light is for hyperpigmentation. Anyone here tried green light?

I read another study done by a Japanese doctor that blue light helps with hyperpigmentation in subjects. I'm completely confused now. I thought blue is for acne. Question

Bila, what a great question, I never thought of it. I was thinking of trying it, but now an hesitant. Does the green light change in the light spectrum make it better do you think?

Not sure I understood your question. I don't think green light change in the light spectrum. I know there is a green color in the light spectrum!

I've been using an LED for about six months, and I think it has improved my one remaining bit of hyperpigmentation.

Flitcraft, which color is your LED? Is it green? Do you use it every day? Also, is it ok to ask which brand?
