| Does anyone have any experience with lash primer? Not sure if this was a gimmick or something that truly makes a difference. Thoughts?? |

I use Ardell lash gel as a "primer". I let it dry, then curl my lashes, then put on mascara. The gel thickens up my lashes enough that I don't need much mascara - and definitely not a second coat, which invariable gets "clumpy".
The $20 to $35 most "eyelash primers" cost would definitely put them in the "gimmick" category to me. Since Ardell only costs about $4 a tube, I consider it a money-saving deal, with a second benefit of making it easier to remove all my mascara without losing or breaking any lashes. |

| I like to use it because I have straight lashes that actually point downwards (I have wavy hair and this confuses me), I don't like to curl them everyday so when I use the primer it does curl and lift them so when I put mascara on, it doesn't make them loose the lift either. Normally a coat of mascara will straighten my lashes even after curling. I like the Dior show line and heated curler. |
