I just recieved as a gift today a little tool called a Yuroll. It is a facial roller made of jade and is used for facial massage and to stimulate lymphatic drainage in the skin. I think that these devices are Chinese in origin and a couple of years ago they made a bit of a splash in the press with apparently people like Kate Moss and Debbie Harry being fans.
I have just tried it and it is quite a nifty little thing and I was surprised at just how tender some areas of my face such as along the jawline and the neck were I think this is due to stored tension and a build of of toxins in the lymph glands. I don't see a diffrence in my skin after once use but I think the benefits are supposed to be cumulative with regular use. It actually seems like quite a hassle free way of including facial massage into my regime.
Anyway I'd be interested to know if anyone else has heard of this device or has any experiance of it? |
