I am looking for some options for an LED device that may help with textural issues I have from sun damage to my neck and upper chest (was told it was Poikiloderma of Civatte) I have some pigmentation issues w/ this condition but my main concern is the very bumpy texture. I am also showing some signs of sun damage on my face but thankfully not that bad. I do have some flushing problems and a few broken blood vessels and I understand LED devices may help with that.
I have contacted a couple of members here who recommend LightStim in conjuction w/ topical agents. I have also heard good things about Baby Q.
I'm having some cherry angiomas and sun spots removed professionally in the next month and then I am going to resign myself to just trying home methods to at least improve the textural issue (the nurse I talked to at the clinic where I am having the lesions removed told me that IPL really won't help with the textural issue) She said a series of peels might help but no guarantees.
I have spent a lot of money going to different aesheticians and purchased numerous topical agents to combat this problem with minimal results (usually temporary) and I am growing weary of doing this.
I want to stick to a plan that is simple and I am willing to be consistent and patient as I know it may take time to see results from home LED devices.
I am now trying to decide between the Baby Q and the LightStim.
Any suggestions and/or advice would be appreciated. |
