Has anyone tried the Babor moisturizers? Now that the hot weather is gone I can get ready for my next EDS order (I dont like getting stuff sent out during hot summer months - I figure it can't do a product good to sweat it out in 30+ temps after it reaches Japan). Anyway, I will be shopping for a new moisturizer (along with cleanser and eye cream and mask) later this month, and am very interested in trying the Babor line..
Babor's sensitive day/night creams sound good, but the biogen day/night, Vit. C, Q10, hydro flavon, and Scen Tao creams sound delish too. I cannot decide!
I would like to hear if anyone here has tried this line. In particular I am interested in the texture of the cream and how it feels when applied (does it sit a while or sink in without a trace).
I am 38 and dont have any trouble with winkles, other than around my eyes. My skin is still "plump" (though that could just be fat holding it up.. ) In general I have no great problems with oiliness/dryness/breakouts or product sensitivity. I guess I have normal skin that is "delicate/reactive" (a better term for me than sensitive I think)
Changes in weather (especially when it becomes hot/humid) or my physical condition will cause it to have a hissy fit, which can entail breakouts around the temple and chin, oily nose area with blackheads and also with dry white flakes, and/or a general redness. Well actually my skin is generally pinkish at all times (my skin flushes very easily) and I have open pores from the nose/chin out to around the cheek directly under the pupil. These have improved significantly with use of other products, but have not vanished completely.
With the extremely dry cold of winter coming, I will need something hydrating, but I dont like "heavy" creams (that said I do like Creme de la mer and the Decleor balms - but they vanish into the skin and dont leave a greasy feel) |

Of the Babor mositurising range I have only tried the Sensational Eyes Cream and Sensational Eyes Gel. I think the cream would obviously be the better choice given that you're going into winter now. I find the Babor cream moisturising but quite light at the same time. It does not sit on the skin (at least not mine), it sinks right in. I've liked the Babor eye cream from the first sample that I tried Perhaps ask HappyGirl163 about it as well as she has almost finished using her jar (http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?p=20931#20931 towards the end of the thread). |

hi guys
im not really contributing to your query but just adding a similar one of my own - has anyone tried Babor PURE fluid (the 7 ampoules stuff).
I know EDS carries the perfect combination fluid but this isnt the same - the PURE range is targeted specifically at blemishes.
id really like to hear peoples thoughts if theyve tried it - the ampoules look quite posh so im figuring they must be quite potent.
Cheers guys

I've only tried the Hydra Flavon cream among the ones you mentioned. The Hydra Flavon is very light cream moisturiser, gives lots of moisture and doesn't leave any film on the skin. Its very soothing and has a cool green colour. I know that my friend with dry skin loves the complex-c cream as well.
In general I think the babor moisturisers are very goog. |
