I'm sure you guys know about the Allergan cream coming out called Prevage.
If not, you can find out more at prevage.com or from Allergan's website (the same company that makes the MD FORTE line).
So, the release date on this keeps getting pushed back.
What do you all think of this product and will you be purchasing? If it ever gets released, anyway....
I'm definitely interested, but wonder what the hold up is. How does it compare to the Argeriline products you all have been talking about? I really don't know much about those. Are they comparable at all? Hmm... |

Thanks Bonnie!
I find it utterly amazing
Can't wait to hear reviews on this one. It sounds like you can only get it from a doctor. Keep us posted if you hear more on this one.
Lori, now calm down. |

No doctor needed! Go to beautymark.ca and look under Freeze 24/7. You can also purchase from Isomers directly right here in Canada, if this is what you want.
As for the Idebenone, personally I wouldn't use it until the studies have been out long enough. The ingred may be good for strokes but whether its good for skin is another thing. |

Yes, it seems the idebenone caused some severe allergic reactions in some. Pure Deming was making a version and they pulled it after a few buyers developed serious reactions. So maybe, that's why the Avage date keeps getting moved up as well.
I'll sit tight until they get it figured out. And probably won't buy it until it's been on the market for a long while. |

I was so excited when I heard Prevage was coming out, but I don't think I'd try it now if someone gave it to me, or atleast until some of you used it first to see if it gave you bad reactions...hehehe. Seriously though, it is very scary that the release date has been set back so many times. If I remember correctly it was supposed to be released June 2004, then late 2004 and now Allergan says it will be available in Jan 2005. Has anyone questioned their derms or doctors about it? I keep meaning to ask my derm for her thoughts but I always forget.
For those of you wondering what this is you can read about Prevage here:

Maybe there are testing more because there was a problem with a serum that gals were buying on ebay. Some were having allergic reactions on their skin! It was Pure Demming, and they responded to people and said they had complaints and thought it was a batch issue, they were very concerned and helpful to the public.
Prevage contains Idebenone (the lastest/greatest antioxidant to hit the market) Isomers has it is one of their serums currently. I haven't heard anything back about gals having reactions to the Isomers one. I suspect due to the issue with the other company that Allergan is testing further! You might want to try out Isomers because it is returnable within 30 days, then again it probably takes 30 days to see anything. With antioxidants it isn't like you see anything instantly or such. |
