I am currently trialling 10 ml of Lancome Secret De Vie Ultimate Cellular Reviving Creme. I don't know if it is my eys or the small print on silvery cardboard, but I cant make out many ingredients!
Major ones are water and dimethicone . Aluminum starch, synthetic wax .
Down the list, sugar cane extract, sugar maple extract, yeast extract, orange fruit extract.
What an odd set of ingredients! There are plenty of chemical sounding things as well.
It does leave you looking a bit more plumped in the morning (but I have used others that are more so).
Downside is I hate the smell and it feels so greasy when you put it on. However, it does sink in. I will update at the end of the sample. |

Thanks Lola. I am going to use morning and evening for around 10 days (which is I estimate when it runs out). Does that sound like correct usage to you?
I noticed this morning after applying it, that water beaded on my hands when I tried to rinse it off (like vaseline!) |

Ok, here's the update. After consistent use I can say its nothing particularly special. No magic improvements. So I advise at that pricepoint, try something else if you expect big results. |

Do you recommend anything? I just ordered a sample of this off of Ebay for $20 and didn't know it had dimethicone in it that makes me break out, so looks like I won't be able to try it. |

Looks like that is what I'll have to do. I was really hoping to try it . I didn't realize most of Lancome's products have dimethicone in it, oh why would they do that. Do you have any recommendations for a good night cream comparable to this one without dimethicone? |

Comparing its worth, Lancome is too expensive....sometimes i really dault about its value and efficacy.
all in all, makeup of lancome is neither too good, nor too bad. but the skincare of lancome is not worth to buy |

Yes, some of their items are so expensive and the ingredients don't justify spending that much. |

I got a sample of the Secret De Vie cream and eye cream...I must say that neither one impressed me. Yes, they were both very moisturizing, but you can find a good moisturizer for a lot less. I would save your money ladies. |
