I have been using Retin A for two months on my face/neck, and I also include my decollete and boobs. I would think that it will have a firming and elasticity maintaining effect on that aerea as well? Afterall, the only thing holding breasts up are the so called cooper ligaments and the skin. Since collagen production and quality is not only effected by sun/environmental factors (your breasts may not get much sun - mine dont LOL), but also by age, I would assume that it would be helpful.
What do you think? |

There have been several threads on this topic and while reading one I saw a recommendation for DMAE on breasts. I've tried it along with CP and have been very pleased. I'm a 34c but when I had my babies I'd end up as a very full D cup. Thank goodness no stretchmarks but a loss of tone and this regimen seems to be helping.

Hi Kimberly.
Did you mix your DMAE with water and apply it first?
or how did you do it?

Catski,
The first few times I used Candy's 4% serum but I didn't want to use that all the time so I had some NaturesSource DMAE laying around so I'm using this after applying the CP. I probably should try making my own for use on my body but I'm not convinced this will be one of my talents. LOL. I tried to figure out what the percent of dmae was in the NatureSource but couldn't find any information. I think Ari, in one of the bust threads told how she made her dmae serum for use on her body. I'll be curious to see what you come up with.

I would *not* use Retin-A on breast skin without checking with your derm first. Tretinoin is very potent (as you know), breast skin is pretty delicate, and we don't know much about absorption when large areas of skin are treated. Do check with your doctor first, and let us know what you find out! |

Thanks kimberley. I read what Ari wrote too, and I have it in mind to try it. I have some DMAE which made my face a bit pink.. so I will have to do quite a dilution, just havent got around to it yet, as am using up my BND. |

Catski,
How do you like the BND? Does it incorporate CP's? I was using the CP's alone for several weeks but I do think the two together seem to be more powerful. I was a little nervous about using the DMAE and maybe I should stay with a more diluted strength.

I love the BND for what one pot of it has done to the skin on my chest and breasts, I wouldnt have thought it possible.
It's got rid of sun damage on my chest and smoothed it all right out, and it's conditioned the skin on my breasts, which was very thinned from lots of breastfeeding.
I am 100% thrilled with it, and I'm not sure I'd say the same about ANY other product.. and this was an area of a lot of concern for me.
It has cp's in it, but is super gentle, no irritation for me at all.
I've just ordered a second pot, and I'm thinking now that my skin tone is so improved I'll add some firming as well - though the BND has done that to a certain extent, and may do more with continued use. |

Catski - I am so glad you explained how the BND will help the breasts. I got a sample of it, and it stinks so bad that I refrain from using it when I have to go see my boyfriend. Do you have any idea what makes it smell so bad? Is it the CP? But I also bought the Super CP serum, and it doesn't smell bad at all.

Hi all,
It might be worth considering, that many of the creams and lotions for the breast area are unsuitable for application over the nipple.
I ahve been using Decleor Bust Beautifying Toning Gel. This is applied in circular motion around each breast. This gives the appearnce that the breasts are lifted.
I believe an exercise regime is essential along with a good cream. The following are some useful breast firming exercises:
1. The “fly” or butterfly with 2-3 lb. weights. Lie on your back with your arms extended out to the sides of your body. Lift both arms (with weights) off of the floor simultaneously to the point of a “V” in front of your face. Repeat 10-15 times.
2. Modified push ups. Doing a modified push up, on your knees, with arms extended out toward the sides or your body is an excellent breast toning and firming exercise. Be sure the angle of the push up is working the side of your arms where the arm meets the breast, as well as squeezing the pectoral muscles gently with each repetition.
3. Extend your arm in front of your body, at a ninety degree angle to your midsection. Take your other arm and gently squeeze the extended arm into your chest, feeling the side of the breast (pectoral) muscle squeezing. Repeat ten times on each side.
4. Any time you are at your desk or sitting, a great refresher as well as an excellent bust enhancing exercise is to gently squeeze both arms into the sides of the breasts, feeling the side of the pectoral muscle contract gently. Hold for a few seconds. This exercise is a great re-energizer for those with desk jobs and can be done discreetly and frequently, virtually unnoticed. |
