Some time ago, I was traveling and forgot to pack my trusty Tweezerman tweezers. I had resigned myself to picking up a pair of crummy Revlon drugstore tweezers as a stopgap, but happened to be by a T.J. Maxx store. What did I find there but some Rucci tweezers for $3.99, (so-called "compare at $.
Well, I did not have much in the way of high expectations for them, but they turned out to be very good. They're a heavy gauge brushed stainless steel with a nice little plastic tip cover, and they work quite effectively. They easily grasp tiny little hairs without nipping them off at the base, the bane of cheap tweezers! They claim to be "German designed" though I would guess they are made in China--I threw away the packaging so cannot check.
Bottom line--they are nearly as good as my Tweezermans and much cheaper, even at full price. |
