Hello,

This may not be the right place to post this but there is really no other place I can. Does anyone know where I can get samples of the Bare Escentuals powder foundation? I have a fairly particular skintone and I really HAVE TO use testers before I buy a product. There are no Bare Escentuals stores around my area so I have to order online. IT would suck if I spent money on the wrong colour. Can someone please help me out.Text Red

Hi BabyGrrl143,
Go towww.bareesentuals.com. I found the customer service at B.E. (the 1-800#) to be very poor and the staff to not be very knowledgeable about their products when I asked for ingredients and their sources. So I ended up calling one of the B.E. boutiques instead of the 1-800#. I just ordered samples too! You can choose up to 6 and just pay the s/h which I think was approx. U.S. $6. HTH Wink

Unfortunately, we do not have samples for B.E., Jane Iredale, or Glo-Minerals - all of the mineral make-up brands that we sell. The companies have not supplied us with samples:(

The samples I received from the B.E. boutique were just in hand-labeled tiny containers the kind that you would put ketchup in, just good for 1-3 uses.

Did you have to pay anything for the sample? You'd think they would be free if they were that small (Jane Iredale will send you free samples that last almost a week)

They charge you for the s/h. But I got the samples from a B.E. boutique not the company.

I need someplace that will ship to Canada. Will boutiques in the US will do that? I looked everywhere for some place that will give me some samples. Still no luck.

If I were you I would actually give the Bare Escentuals customer service a try. Even though Thoughtcrime had a bad experience with them, often it comes down to luck in getting the right person to pick up the phone.

When I bought my BE Starter Kit I realised that even though the kit was for fair skins the #2 that came with it was still too dark for me. I rang their customer service and spoke to a lovely lady (whose name I can't remember because I'm terrible with names....) who sent me out a full sized tester of the #1 foundation (to Australia) and didn't even ask me to pay for postage or return the pot of #2 that was being replaced.

Granted, she did forget to stick on the air-mail sticker so the parcel took almost 2 months but I'm very impressed with how nice and willing to help she was.

So it seems that their service can go either way, so try your luck Smile

Mabsy.

You can get great bare escentuals samples at a site called Littlestuff4u - Very Happy littlestuff4u .com They also sell minerals called Sandra Minerals the foundations are wonderful! When you order BE from them they always include a free samples and usually a tester sample of the Sandra Minerals. It is how I got started using them, and i never went back to the Bare Escentuals.

i don't know of any samples.....but.....if you go to qvc and buy bare escentuals you have 30 days to use, and return, if you do not like them. she has better prices on qvc than at a store or ordering from b/e on line. i buy a lot of things from qvc and never have any trouble returning it, they will even refund shipping if it is written on return slip hope this helps...also even with fussy skin bare escentuals should not hurt or harm your skin as it is all natural no chemicals just use little, as a little goes a long way.
