OK, this might be an odd review, but I love to share a rave about any awesome product I find.
A friend of mine stayed at the W Hotel in NYC recently and when she came back she handed over one of the mini soaps from the room - a Bliss Labs Lemon & Sage soap. I stuck it in the cupboard thinking it was a stingy souvenir  and only dragged it out when we ran out of shower gel this week.
WELL OH MY GOODNESS!  This is totally THE most awesome bar soap either my husband and I have ever used. At first it felt a bit odd.. almost oily-slimy, but the lather is remarkable and it rinses clean with no residue, just silky soft skin. I would even put this above the Epiderm facial bars we have used for body from time to time.
My husband has now instructed me to head to Sephora when I am in the states next week and buy some. It is not cheap by any means ($16), but the bars are HUGE (12.3 oz) and I think if cut into 2 or 3 pieces and used gradually it would last ages (our little hotel size one has been going for a week and still about 2/3 left)
The only other bath/shower product I have ever found this good is the Thalgo Shower Gel (which also will always have a place in my shower).
We recently ordered some of Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Castille liquid soap, so it will be interesting to compare. |
