Hi ladies, ever since I turned 31 this year I noticed my skin had worsened a lot all of a sudden. large pores/fine linesappear, skin began to sag. I always have a healthy lifestyle, an avid sunscreeen/vit C/retin A user and took vitamins/omega 3s religioulsy. I have begun a course of gentlewaves treatment but did not see any results yet.
what do you suggest me to try next? I am thinking of a non invasive cosmetic treatment in the line of laser therapy but not sure about the type to try. I tend to steer clear away from peels due to the bad experience with AHA years ago and I am still on retin A now.
Thanks all!! |

What skincares do you use?? It may be the problem on it if you said you did everything for keeping skin condition. |

Are you eating properly, eliminating suger, alcohol, white flour. Eating fish and vegies. Not smoking? Are you on any meds? Birth Control? Getting enough sleep and water? Taking vitamins and supplements. Both Dr. Denise and Dr. Perricone stress the importance of good eating in their books. If not, take a walk to the library and pick up some Perricone books and Dr. Denise's books, and read the chapers on DIET. |

Yeah for sure real whole food diet, don't eat inflammatory foods like anything made w vegetable oil or fried or any refined carbs, sugar is very inflammatory, take omega 3 supplements and eat fish (watch mercury content), stay away from caffeine it dehydrates the skin and decreases circulation to your skin. Eat a lot of antioxidant foods and take AO supplements like C & E, alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10, lots of plant foods, eat tons of salad too and stay away from bottled dressing!
I was using the Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At Home MicroDermabrasion System but my derm nurse said the Clarisonic face brush is better (it's also like 5 times as expensive), but she said getting your face really clean is super important for you skins health and brightness. |

Secretly, I don't know if you'll see this, but are you using the Clarisonic, and if so, how do you like it? |

I just heard about it yesterday but going to get it, I think getting the skin really clean, exfoliating, plus the stimulating action is probably why it's so effective. I saw it on Amazon for under $150 (OK to post that here?).
Also I wanted to add to Onion that make sure to get tons of sleep, sleep deprivation ages you terribly and also makes you fat and depressed. |

There is this treatment that you can get and I'm not sure what is the proper name of it, but it was something like this: thermaloge?
This will be my next step in my forties because I don't have any issues right now. |
