I am trying to decide which ultrasound device would be best for my situation. I know the 1MHz is too much for the face and you should really go with a 2 or 3 MHz. I recently came across a product called The Vaculifter Skin and Facial Massage priced at $78.00 The ultrasound devices are close to $200.00, this is a huge savings. My goals are to tighten the skin around the jaw line, maybe try and lift the outer eye area, and I'd also like to try and distribute some of the fat in the tummy area. Can anyone give me some advice on these items. I have no problems with my skin, no blemishes, no rosseca, not dry, not oily, I just want to firm up the face and slow down the aging. Can anyone help?

Don't we all! Laughing I have just about every facial gadget under the sun and am sorry to say that I've not seen much firming up in my jowl area - however, at 59 perhaps I'm asking too much.

I do recommend the use of the Vaculifter though - it gives a really wonderful massage to the skin and it's very good for working on the neck area. Ultrasound devices are great for product penetration. Mine has a lifting mode, but I don't think it's done much.

You might also like to look into the STOP, this is a skin tightening device http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=473647#473647 (I have this also - and again zilch lifting results).

Allot of Forum members are raving about facial exercises which, over time, tone the muscles and can have a tightening and lifting effect. One gadget that is also supposed to help is the Tua Viso http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?tid=31637

I do all of the above but as I said I've not seen much in the way of lifting, however, my skin is looking pretty good these days so putting in the effort does pay dividends.

BTW, if you're interested in a 2mhz ultrasound check out the Bellaire, it's supposed to be one of the best.
