I've been using PSF 5% for a month now, twice everyday. It doesn't seem to do anything for my clogged pores, except dry out my skin. |

I love this product! It's really made a difference with my skin- a few weeks ago I ran out and had a disaster with the mail, and was without it for almost 2 weeks. I had a lot more clogged pores, especially around my nose, and I got minor breakouts when I normally don't.
I use it in the evenings after OCM. I think the key is to get your pores unclogged, whether with a facial or OCM or whatever, then use the PSF as a preventative treatment. I apply it and then wait 15 minutes or so and put on moisturizer- I've never had a problem with it drying my skin out. |

If I remember correctly this contains alcohol which is drying to most people. BHA is great for cleaning out the pores, of course its possible that it may just no tbe effective for you.
But I wonder, are you using another product that may be pore clogging? |

In order not to dry out my skin I get a Qtip and stand in bright light and just dab the clogged pores with MUA's 3% solution.
Also, I managed to clog my pores and make a complete mess of my skin with Arnica Cream after my facelift. I purchased MD Skincare's Alpha Beta Daily Peel pads and I can't believe how quickly those have cleared my skin and unclogged my pores. I've only used them 5 times! They are expensive but my skin is clear and smooth and glowing. You may want to give them a try. I have sensitive skin and they have not dried me out all. I think it's because Step 2 is a neutralizer. |

I haven't moved up to the 5% but am very happy with PSF's lower version. I ran out of it and my face is all clogged up.
I wouldn't use it twice a day though. I also think it's most effective after a thorough cleansing at night (I use a cleansing balm). I also thought one shouldnt use BHA in the morning because of sun sensitivity or something (like Retinol/Vit A). I tend to use use BHA at night instead of a toner. And I use PSF's Vit C in the morning. |
