Does anyone know anything about the sunscreen an its PPA rating??

This is a good question.
Personally if the PPD rating isn't stated or there aren't any UVA stars on it, I don't depend on cosmetics for adequate broad spectrum UVA & UVB protection. For this reason I just use the normal Prep & Prime. Sometimes I use it before the sun protection, sometimes afterwards.
If I use the P&P before the LRP, I worry that the sunblock won't be absorbed and if I use P&P after it, I worry about how much sunblock I'm inadvertently wiping off! I do try and wait 20mins afer LRP but sometimes there isn't time and if my husband is around my face without makeup would be too frightening to contemplate. I spend long enough in the bathroom applying natural makeup and getting cabin fever without adding another 20 minutes to my regime!
I'm sure somebody here will be able to answer your question . Have you tried contacting MAC? |

Ok I've seen a few references to it being pa+++, but not sure how certain that is - you're right, I think I will ask MAC directly! |

Even pa+++ had a ppd 8-10. The only way to get high ppd protection is a Euro s/s. US/Jap/Canada don't come close. |

Exactly, I don't think there's a way to avoid wearing a broad spectrum Euro sunblock if you want the best sun protection. Wish there was.
I would be interested to hear what MAC say nonetheless. Let us know when you hear! |
