The only sure thing to get rid of it overnight unfortunately is to go to a derm and get a shot of cortisone in it....
You might try a hot facecloth to bring it to a head and then lather on some healing type oils. |

Is it affected by inflammation? Maybe you could try benoxyl peroxide treatment. |

If you have Baby Quasar, do that on the pimple(s) and put any kind of pimple cream after. I do it to my teenagers and it works like magic. Literally deflates the pimples overnight. |

I usually have pretty good luck with PSF's Acne Mud Treatment. Put a big glob on before bed and hopefully it will be 50% gone in the morning.
I don't think anything short of a cortisone shot will have it "gone" in one day. |

Just for clarification, when I said "deflates," I didn't mean totally gone like you can't see it anymore. It's just not inflamed and on its way bye-bye dramatically. |

Dermawand is also quite useful in rapidly shrinking large pimples. I hold it on high setting for about a minute. A great product to spot treat is Lerosett which can be left on overnight. My aesthetician advises to spot the pimple with Jan Marini Bioclear cream, then top w/Lerosett. |

I have tried several of these suggestions and as of last night have not found one that works for me. When you find one--- please let us know as I am dealing with a honker on my nose! |

It's challenging... and in fact there is no rapid treatment
Recently I got a tube of Differin Gel from my GP. I think it is quite good to treat acne and comedones. The key active ingredient is Adapalene. |

1. Take 3 ibuprofen (ie, Advil or Motrin)==this is a prescription dosage of ibuprofen and it takes down swelling very nicely. You can repeat it in 6 hours. I wouldn't do this more than 2 or 3 times in 24 hours, though.
2. Put Neosporin ointment on that bad boy. I know it feels greasy and ointment-y, but it works.
I would try both those things. |

I agree with the Dermawand and using physical exfoliant as on the spot treatment. This is why I'm exfoliating all the time in the summer. I can totally relate! |

Years ago I remember getting a pesky pimple right before a big event and I went to L'Occitane at the suggestion of a friend and bought this Lavender or Geranium tonic (it's a toner but I think theirs is called a tonic). It was either Lavender or Geranium. That stuff was amazing..it basically extracted the pimple by itself.
You could also see an esthetician and have her extract it for you. |

When it's a bad one, I go for drying lotion, which I put on at bedtime. Mario Badescu, Kate Somerville, and "Bye Bye Blemish" all seem to have similar formulas, which is a small bottle half full of pink (calamine, I believe) sludge with a layer of clear liquid floating on it.
You dip a Q-tip into the bottle, push through the clear liquid and into the pink sludge, and then pull out the Q-Tip and apply the mixture. It leaves a big pink glob of calamine, so it's best to do at home, among friends, and overnight, but for me it will often stop an incoming blemish in its tracks or deflate an existing one by morning. |

It may sound crazy but antihistamine cream reduces the swelling in mine dramatically. |

I use Vichy Normaderm concealer pen. It helps to subside and dry up the pimple, usually by the next day! |

benoxyl peroxide treatment is a gud choice.

Try somthing with Rhassoul mud or any type of clay / mud to try and draw out impurities. Lush Cupcake or Khiels Rare Earth clay are both deep cleansing |

Tea tree Oil 'spot dots' - about 16 per pack(try Googling or Ebay) might take 2/ 3 days for really big cyst/ pimple but best i've ever used overnight for a normal spot! |

I have a huge pimple once in a while. I always apply DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask on for 10 mins. Then I will put D'Arcy Overnight Drying
for overnight. It works for me. |
