cod liver oil, emu oil, grapeseed oil, squalene, red raspberry seed oil... would like to mix these together with 1% CoQ10 for a serum.
Any suggestions as to percentages welcome too.
thanks! |

Wouldn't the cod liver oil make your serum smell fishy? The other ingredients sound wonderful. |

Yeah, I think it will. But it's got lots of vitamin A so I'm prepared to get a bit fishy. Maybe might add an essential oil to de-fish the smell.
(Any ideas, anyone?) |

Have you been reading the threads on avocado oil? It also has Vitamin A. So does carrot seed oil, sea buckthorn, pumpkin seed oil, and aloe vera oil. Cod liver oil seems an odd choice to me given so many other nutrient oils available. What about possible mercury contamination? |

As far as I can see cod liver oil is far higher in vitamin A than any other oil. |
