Caspers Mum, I'm in a hot situation. I need your advice on selecting a perfect lipwear to go to a dinner date with a very cute guy ( and I think I will kiss him before and after the meal). So, I need a lipstick that will make my lips irresistible, kissable sexy and it must be a long lasting one and doesn't smell like any Lip Smackers that I own. Please help! I have only ten days to run out and buy whatever you say is hot. |

I'm all ears for that kind of lipstick too.... most of them that are long lasting are too dry, the glossy ones wear off too soon and the rest leave stains everywhere.... so what has the angel, Caspers mom's recommendation ! |

why not some makeup tips.
put some lipbalm before applying lipstick, Apply your lipstick the first time and then use a tissue to remove ecessive oil, tip on some foundations on your lips and reapply some lipstick. try it. It should stay longer than usual. |

First rule: men don't really like lipstick. At least, most men that I know. They appreciate subtle make-up, and some like to see a woman in something flashy when there is a special occasion. But for the most-part, the thought of kissing a woman with "goo" on her lips is a turn-off for most men. Really & truly.
What I recommend: make your lips kissably soft & smooth. Try Sothys new Intensive Lip Care. This will hydrate & plump-up the lip area. If you really want to wear lip-product, may I suggest a SUBTLE hint of lipgloss. Just a BIT! Play up your eyes instead. |

Thanks Caspers Mum for a wonderful sisterly advice. I think the same way too that guys don't really like lipstains on their cheeks or their shirt collars. I will definitely just go out with a pretty shade of lip gloss but which one is the best(???). I have tons of Lip Smackers of all flavors ( so kiddy), Lancome Juicy Lips ( so sticky, not good with my long fine hair), MAC Lipglass ( so obvious). What is your favorite shade of gloss for seductive hot lips? I have full lips with colour that can change with my moods: from red when I'm happy to very pale when I'm nervous. I'm also very pale too! |

Totally agree with leiladao. Lancome's juicy tube is too juicy. My hair always got stuck on my lips, especially the windy day. Need some good, non-sticky lipgloss too. |

I always have Smith's Rosebud Salve. Not sticky. Not a gloss. Hint o' pink. |

I always use rosebud as lipbalm at night. It is a miracle when my lips feel chapped. |

I went to one of my best friends' wedding last Sunday. This was the fourth one this summer I attended ( twice I was bridemaid ):0(. Eventhough I was very happy for my lucky friends I could not help feeling very...impatient. And when some good hearted caring relatives kept asking me when my wedding would be, I just wanted to laugh, I don't even have a cute guy to plan it with. Hah! hah! hah! Any way, as planned, I will go ahead for a date this Saturday. I got so many good tips on lip gloss and this is a list:
-Smith's Rosebud Salve ( where can I find it, Caspers Mum?)
-SmashBox Gloss in Candid or Blur
-Sacha Gloss in Next to Natural
-Aubrey Natural Lips in Petal Pink
-Shiseido the Makeup Super Gloss in Coralline
-Rimmel Gloss in Flirt
-etc & etc...
The last two I know where to find them, the rest, no clue. You guys, have you ever heard or used them, could you please kindly give me some thoughts? |
