I recently purchased a Darphin salon size arovita lip and eye contour gel from Fragrancenet com. The product came without proper packaging, the Darphin ligh green box and the little scoop. Instead, it was only wrapped by red plastic bag. It is my first time purchasing salon size product on line. Because of its packaging, I am worried about the product authenticity.
I called Darphin asking about salon size products. The lady insisted that Darphin does not sell salon size product to general public. She did not provide any information about salon size product. I called several Darphin salons listed on its website. None of the salon has the salon size gel.
I also talked to the representative from the seller. She insisted the product came without packaging and they are the distributor. She couldn't help me understand why there is no proper packaging.
There are so many Darphin salon size products selling on line. If the product is not authentic, how come there is no action taken by Darphin?
I am really not sure if I should be using it. Can someone please help me? Thank you for reading my message. Any suggestions and comments are appreciated. |

| Hi, I've not bought but seen salon sizes of Darphin and Decleor products in Selfridges and Harrods. They are both high end department stores in central London. I doubt either of these stores would sell fake stuff so I would think that these products do exist. |

I guess the only concern I have left is the safety of the product I received since it does not come with Darphin signature green box.
I wonder if there is anyone has purchased and used salon size product from fragrancenet com? |
