Hey!
Two days ago I bought Dr. Hauschka's travel/testing kit for oily skin. There's the cleansing cream, the clarifying toner, the normalizing day oil + 2 masks (rejunevating and clay) I know two days isn't long enough to give a valid opinion but my pores seem smaller & my t-zone is less shinier. I've also tryed the clay mask which worked really good & refreshening.
The thing is I'm a 18 yo. male. So as you can guess - I'm rather new in the skin care scene.
A couple of days ago I sent an online dermatologist a question or two about my skin type. (with pictures) Told her that I've got dull skin with a oilier/shiny t-zone. I've also got fine lines on my forehead & wrinkles under my eyes.
Today I received an answer that it's probably combination skin with some dehydration.
I'm thinking of buying the Dr Hauschka's moisturizing day cream. For hydrating that dull, pale skin.
Any suggestions and advice is more than welcome. Thanks in forward! |

Dehydration needs to be remedied starting from the inside. I would slowly start increasing your fluid intake to get your body used to it so it doesn't just go right through.
Fluids that are hydrating are things like water (of course) but also juices and some teas.
Dehydrating are things with caffeine and high frustose corn syrups, sugars, and salts. (sodas and diet sodas are very dehydrating as is coffee beer and wine and any alcoholic beverage.)
If you are not a soup person - try a cup at lunch to start. .
If you are a soda drinker, I know that is a hard habit to break. But your poccket book and body will thank you for it in the long run. |

Thanks! Funny cause I've drank coffee every morning for probably almost 10 years. I'l keep that in mind;)
But overall I've read the reviews for Dr Hauschas moisturizing day cream, and people with the same skin type as me have praised it. |

For me, Dr Hauschas moisturizing day cream is a little bit too rich. |
