This might be a bit off the products on this site but has anyone tried the Chanel skincare range, moisturisers and eye creams? |

I bought a lipgloss recently from chanel and the gave me a sample of Age Delay Rejuvenation Serum to try. I really liked it (my skin is quite dry).
It is expensive though so I'm hoping that when my sample of Olay Regenerist arrives that will compare favourably.

I have tried their eye cream (one with SPF 15 in a pump bottle) and it was crap. On a better note though, their Mask Puretee Express (sp?) is really good, deep cleansing but very gentle at the same time. |

I use their Age Delay spf 15 lotion on my throat everyday and I like it a lot. I originally got it for my face (still liked it) but I got side tracked by other items. |

I haven't tried their serums or most of their skincare actually. I tried their Eye Tonic (for dark circles) which was useless and also their Masque Purete Express. The mask is VERY good! |

I like their Age Delay lotion, as well. I don't use it regularly, but only because I can't seem to stick with one product for long. |

I really like the Hydramax line, the Precision Age Delay eye gel (although not obvious effect), the Precision Radiance revealing serum, and the Bronze Universel (a bronze makeup base which gives a smooth effect). |

About the make-up, is it worth the money? or is it not much different to the less inexpensive brands? I know the packaging is nice |

Voile Universel SPF15 is worth the price IMO. It's a very sheer foundation - it's actually more of a watery tint with SPF in it. Very natural if you don't need a lot of coverage. |

I really quite like the foundation and the Brozne Universel before I discovered GA. |

Oh I love voile universal!! The only problem is I find the lightest color a little too dark. Mabsy is right, not a ton of coverage, but that is what I love about it. |

I'm with you on that one! It's ok for me in summer - other times I either use it very sparringly (not all over just in "strategic" places) or I dilute with a serum or lotion |

I'm allergic to everything they make - not good for sensitive skin. |

I like the powders-both the pressed and loose, the E/S quads and the glosses |

I love chanel products... of the skin care i have only used the eye make up remover which is like heaven, but i've always found that the other products are for more mature skins (i'm only 20) so i'll try them a little later.
I love vitalumier.. it's fantastic..really makes ur skin radiant! and i live their mascaras and the textures of the eyeshadows etc. I think it's worth the money? |

Hey SKIN ADICT, Im allergic to Chanel too. I took me awhile of breakouts and rashes to figure it out. I bought some Chanel skin care for my mom and everyone has been raving about her skin!!!! So I just gave the rest to mom. She does look younger. Ultra correction for mature skin great for our mothers |

Chanel skin care is a good line for mature skin. They use a rose fragrance in all their products so it tends to irritate sensetive skin. Their blushes, and eye shadows, pressed powders are all baked, you get a lot of color for the money. Hydramax is wonderful if you have dryer skin, and the facial scrub is great. |

I really like their e/s quads..pricey but worth it! The colors are highly pigmented so you don't need alot. Their glosses are great too!
Can't use their foundations, allergic to them as well. Seems like a few of us are!
As for skincare, gosh the Chanel lady at my local Hecht's is always giving me freebies! Can't say I like much of it..too fragrant! And for the $$ I can find something better!
PS
If anyone wants samples of Chanel skincare just pm me. First come, first serve. I hope this is allowed, if not someone politely pm me and I will edit this post. Thanks! |

I tried the cleanser, toner and mosituriser a while ago. Although they looks nice, they don't do any special for my skin so I decided to use other products. I recommend anybody to try the samples and see whether they like this range before buying the product. I don't find them bad at all. Just fine for me! |
