They were in a newspaper article yesterday, looked like sticking plaster all over their faces, they have been for sale in the US for years and supposed to stop wrinkles? - of course this caught my eye
Any one know more about them or have tried them? |

i've tried them, and yes they did work for me. i used them for the eye area, and i did find that the wrinkles were less noticeable. the only guff i had w. them was that you have to use them consistently, keep them on for a minimum of (i think it was) 4 hours - they suggest sleeping in them - and i found them a little strange/uncomfortable feeling while they were on, you dampen the sticky side + they harden up. i tried sleeping w. them a few times (only when my bf wasn't sleeping over, my new nickname would've been paper girl or worse) but found it next to impossible.
i should go track them done tonight when i get home. |

i figure, give them a try; their not expensive - it's not like buying $200 bottle of wrinkle cream. |

Frownies, huh? Would you find them at a Walgreens? or a salon? or ? |

Yes Yes Yes
I'm just home from my every 6 week facial (usually Yon-ka & I absolutely love the aroma!! It's beautiful wonder why I don't use it at home? Oh well). My report card from the aesthetician was A+, keep up the good work - I don't have the heart to tell her about all of my "out of shop" purchases!!
Back to the Frownies...I use them to sleep in - you do get used to it - and only on my vertical frown lines. You know I've been thinking about getting in touch with the head frownie & seeing if there was a way to use them on my upper lip. It's getting pretty wrinkly & I don't smoke or anything but......I purse my lips alot! I frown alot too because I have sensitive eyes & just because I frown I guess. (Just thought about how I look walking around with a giant frown & my lips pursed - I may as well have my hands on my hips too! )
I find them irreplacable because they do relax my face at night or if I have a headache in the daytime (I might add here that I don't work - I wouldn't use them during the day at an office!)
In the UK they're on Eva Fraser's website & in Canada I have seen them at rare Shopper's Drug Marts but if you go to the Frownie website ( I think it's just frownies.com) they will tell you where they're sold & they themselves sell them on-line. |

I might have to try these. I just read where Renee Russo, Glenn Close and Meryl Streep wear these. You get 144 in a box for $16.95. |
