I went to my local natural/organic health store today... and saw that they are carrying Avalon, Alba, Kiss My Face... a few of their products look very yummy... and their price is even yummier! averaging $10-$30 CAD... just wondering if any of you had experience with these brands? are they bad...i mean they are so cheap!!! (I have seen kiss my face in body cream and lotions before...but never saw the organic line)

I have shopped at the health food stores my whole life and I really like all these products. I have never had a bad experience with any of them. My favorite health food store line is Earth Science. Alba & Avalon are also very nice for normal skin. Their body care products are also great, even for the most sensitive skin.
Haven't tried KMF facial care. I just ought Ecco Bella facial cleanse and so far so goood. Also love Jurlique & Dr.H.

At my local health food store I discovered a brand of body care I love. It is called Pure and Basic. I use their body wash and moisturizer in the Lavendar scent. I can't live without it now. It is a staple in my cabinet. They have escentual oils in both of the products to moisturize my super dry skin. I just can say enough about this line. It's too bad they don't make a skincare line.  |

I have used Avalon Organics shampoos for several years now, very nice results, although the ingredients are not as 'pure' as I would like them to be. I've used Kiss My Face, but only their shaving cream -- it is decent. My favorite health food store brand by far is Aubrey Organics! If you see them around I recommend that you give them a try.  |

I have used several hair products from the Aubrey line. Clarifying Shampoo, conditioners, hair rinse, hair gel. I am actually awaiting my first skincare set to arrive in the mail -- any day now! I have had EXCELLENT results with every aubrey product I have purchased so far, so I am very excited about dabbling in their skincare line. . .and I cannot wait to try their hair mask as well!
A good friend of mine has used their face creams and is VERY impressed by them, so I feel confident passing along her recommendation. I will be sure to post reviews after I try them out!! |
