I've been considering purchasing some of Jane Iredale's eyeshadows. The problem is deciding on which colors -- I can't find a single website that shows an accurate color photo, and there is great variation between websites. I am looking for some very particular shades, and I don't want to order a camel color and end up with a cocoa! Do any of you know if it is possible to obtain samples of Jane Iredale cosmetics?? I know this is a long shot, but sometimes I see sample cards of eyeshadows with little squares of pressed shadow on them.
Or if any of you can recommend a few shades, I am looking for a camel/taupe color to bring out the blue in my eyes.

these guys have samples of the foundations and the lipsticks...but not eyeshadows

| I've too noticed the colours always seem to look different on every site. Too bad they don't sell samples of this stuff like they do with BE on ebay. |

If you go to Jane Iredale's website they do have a salon/store locator. You might have a salon that is selling the product in your area. If you do have one within a reasonable drive; you could call and ask if they stock eye shadows.
It would give you a chance to see the product in person. I too find it hard to pick out shades from the computer/and or catalog. |

That is an excellent idea, Autumn! I've become so accustomed to ordering over the internet that the idea of walking into a 'bricks and mortar' store simply didn't occur to me.
Hrm... there are 9 stores within 7 miles of my apartment...I think I'll have no trouble finding some eyeshadows to look at in person.  |
