A good thing that came out of H1N1 - I quit biting my fingernails (I know, disgusting, but at least I have quit!) My nails grow just past the end of my finger and then they all start cracking/breaking. I think I am taking pretty good care of them (moisturizing cuticles, filing, keeping them polished), but want something to make them stronger.
Also, can anyone suggest something to help keep the tips (underneath) white? |

Used to have problems with splitting and breaking nails but had no help with any of the topical products I tried. I knew i had to find something that gave healthy, strong nails as they grew and that it would be an "inside job" and this is what I found and now swear by- daily supplements of MSM 1500mg- it will take several weeks to really make a difference but I have to tell you, I never, ever have breaking and splitting since I've been on it. And they grow fast. My hair grows crazy fast too now and that may or may not be a plus for you.
When I need to whiten my nails I just soak for a few minutes in a very weak bleach/water solution, wash with a mild soap and moisturize- just use enough depth to soak the tips. I expect there will people who say this is a bad idea if you already have nail problems but it never seemed to worsen things for me and it is the only thing I found to work.
I highly recommend the MSM- it's practically magic. |

I do recommend Skin Biology's Tin Peptide nail cream-it goes to work directly on the nail bed |
